The list is endless of the traits that can help you discover the entrepreneur in you. But here are a few that will help you. If there are several traits that describes you, you might just be an Entrepreneur. Here are the few I know :
- YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED WITH YOUR PRESENT SITUATION
You are constantly trying to make it big in life. You like achieving new things. You don’t get tired of working on your dream. You have a thirst and hunger to create a world you want and you are never satisfied with your present situation. To be a great business person means not being comfortable with your present situation, you never rest in your comfort zone and continually improve on your success.
- YOU ARE INDEPENDENT
You love the freedom to make choices. The notion of owning a business rather than working as an employee in excites you. You work hard to be rewarded for your accomplishment that’s the spirit of an entrepreneur. Many successful entrepreneurs started their own businesses after getting fed up with working for other people’s ideas of a fair salary; they felt they can make more money with their work than working for another person.
- YOU ARE USUALLY THE ODD ONE OUT
Many amazing entrepreneurs have done crazy things simply because they felt they didn’t fit in.
The normal way of doing things is abnormal to them “they dropped out of school, quit their jobs, or did other crazy things and took risks to become successful. If you feel out of place in the normal way of doing things, you might just be an entrepreneur. There is nothing wrong with working full time but you are more focused on your own business, you can work more than 8 hours a day but still love and enjoy it more than working whilst feeling obligated to do it.
- YOU ARE USUALLY A LONER.
You most times want your quiet time to think and recharge your mind. You love new ideas so you know you usually get them in alone time. You love thinking of ideas and enjoy working alone. You are a great listener and you are great at team management.
- YOU TAKE ACTION
An Entrepreneur is action-oriented, he talks less and does more. Talk is cheap, Myles mun roe said the richest place in the world is the grave where great ideas have slept with people, they talked their way to the grave, and anyone can have an Idea. But you talk less and do more.
- YOU LIKE TO BE IN CHARGE
You like being in charge of things at work, at church or community and most people do not find it hard to follow you.
- YOU ARE NOT AFRAID TO TAKE RISKS
If risk excites you, you are daring and you love challenges. Entrepreneurs have to take calculated risks every day, while employees work to bring the outcome of the risky decision an entrepreneur has made
- YOU KNOW HOW TO MANAGE MONEY
You are a very good custodian of money, every time there is money in your hands the first thing that comes to your mind is multiplying it. You know what to spend on and when to spend it. You effectively budget, spend, and use money as a tool for growth.
- YOU ARE DARING
Unfortunately, very rare to find people like that. When you are hit with challenges and obstacles that make you wish you never started you don’t give up. No matter how frustrated or exhausted you are you don’t give up. You pursue things until they’re finished, and you won’t give up until you succeed.
- YOU HAVE CONFIDENCE
If you believe in your abilities and simply know that you can succeed, you’re destined to be an entrepreneur.
- YOU ARE CURIOUS
You are curious you’ll also be able to anticipate challenges before they arise and creatively solve problems in a way many others can’t. Inquisitiveness is essential for entrepreneurs.
- YOU ARE VISIONARY
You know who you are and where you go. You are not moved by small problems you face on the way. You think of how you can contribute to the world. You are always thinking of how you can create the future you see in your head and you always see the bigger picture. The future excites you You live to bring the vision of the future into now
- YOU LOVE TO GROW
One thing you love is to see progress in all you put your energy into. You even enjoy helping others to progress
- YOU ARE A PROBLEM SOLVER
You are always trying to solve problems, your friends and family know you as a problem solver.
- YOU SEEK NEW CHALLENGES
Challenges excite you because you love to grow, you love to win all the time and you are satisfied when you overcome a challenge.
- YOU SEE OPPORTUNITIES WHERE OTHERS SEE PROBLEMS
You are always positive, you see solutions where there is a problem. You know you can come up with a new solution and see the opportunities to create something new.
- YOUR GROUP OF FRIENDS CONSIST OF ENTREPRENEURS
The Bible says He who walks with the wise grows wise. You are what your friends are. If most of your friends and the ones you spend regular time with are entrepreneurs that’s a sign that you might be an entrepreneur and you might not know it.
